Surprise Visitor

I know I should be working on other things (like homework and 's art trade), but I felt like doing a fairly quick picture of my own.

For anyone that doesn't know, I'm starting a Great Mouse Detective fanfic (hopefully, if I get around to it). And needless to say, this is a scene from it where my character meets Ratigan. Yeah, it's totally predictable, but I'm indulging here. Looks a lot like how Hook and Riley met in Battle for Neverland too, doesn't it? It's a story with some similar plot devices, but I promise, it will be different.

I'm pretty sure I'm naming the girl Joanna Sable. She's a weasel, so "Sable" seemed like a pretty good last name (though she's not actually a sable). She's a graphic designer, an unsuccessful one actually because mice don't want to do business with her since, quite frankly, they're afraid of getting eaten. Ratigan uses a time machine (made by who and for what reason exactly, I haven't decided) to go to the future, and he meets her when he and his men are looking for a hideout. He sees that she's unhappy with her life, decides she could be useful to his criminal cause, and tries to convince her to join his gang.

Anyways, I don't want to give too much away, and I'm not sure how great this will turn out, but hopefully, it'll be fun.

Oh! And some elements of the story (such as the time travel bit) are inspired by 's story [link] so credit goes to her for that.
